Element 1: Maximum Appropriate Data Sharing

Question

Will there be maximum appropriate sharing of scientific data underlying peer-reviewed publications and other findings resulting from the work supported by this award (including preprints, refereed papers reported at conferences, and other findings)?

Guidance for Response

A response of "Yes" is expected, unless there is a justifiable reason to limit data sharing from the project (which can be explained as a response to Element 4). A "Yes" response indicates that the investigator will share as much of their data as can safely be shared to either NIH- sponsored, discipline-specific, institutional, or generalist repositories by the end of the project period.
